Firenze Gelato Festival – 28/31 may 2010

Florence turned into an ice cream shop open! Only obligation? Taste!! Is not forbidden desire of the greedy but a dream come true with the “Florence Ice Festival” scheduled 28 to 31 May 2010 in the most beautiful squares of Florence. The idea is to transform the city into a theme park of the Giglio accompany visitors in spectacular locations to discover the secrets of Italian ice cream in all its forms.

Piazza Santissima Annunziata will be transformed into the Village of Gelato ice cream makers with the best teachers coming from all over Italy, players especially children with Fun and educational activities in collaboration with the Istituto degli Innocenti, Salone de ‘Cinquecento in Palazzo Vecchio will host the conference inaugural event, the Republic Square will become the Ice Cream Industrial Village, further stages of the “Florence Ice Cream Festival will be ice cream parlors of the historic center of Florence, in particular some of them will turn a corner where fresh and colorful and fun to be in joy. To access the tastings and become players in the path of taste you can purchase the electronic multifunction card event.

To enrich the days of the event a series of meetings and workshops dedicated to ice cream.
