Okay, let me start this weeks fashion post by saying right now at this very second it is 60 degrees and sunny. ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL, PLEASE STAY FOREVER. But, alas, it is supposed to rain for the next 4 days… what’s new?

With that being said, let me tell you that after being in the below freezing temperatures of Amsterdam and Brussels this weather feels like summer… but it is NOT summer. So this fashion post is going to very quickly escalate into a rant about season appropriate clothing. Beware.

Don’t get me wrong, I was the FIRST person this morning to not wear a jacket to class. I was out there sporting my “I <3 Amsterdam” t-shirt, light jeans, and a pair of dark sunglasses, and I will also probably be the first person out there wearing skirts and dresses when it’s weather appropriate (aka not raining) BUT regardless of this phenomenal weather there is one thing that is still necessary no matter what and that is WEARING PANTS. Now if you wanna brave the rain and wear a dress, more power to you, but wearing a winter jacket and NO PANTS is not acceptable in any country, if I’m not mistaken.

WHY DONT YOU HAVE PANTS ON?!

I cannot even wrap my head around this. I understand why she’s making her boy carry her bag though, because carrying that bag would make her coat ride up and we all know what she’d be flashing then.

Besides the fact that she’s not wearing any pants (which I still cannot get over) These two are jumping the spring gun. Technically it’s spring, but the all white, light jeans color palette they have going on is still not what’s popular right now in Florence. Also, what Italian wears baggy jeans? I was a mass of confusion following these two home from class today and I’m still not sure what they were thinking…

What do you guys think? Am I way off on my rant here?
