Saturday afternoon I got the chance to visit one of the most important monuments in Florence, the one and only Duomo of Florence. You all know it, you all love it and guess what I do too. I got pretty lucky as one of my gf’s friends invited us, and I really didn’t know that it was opening after the lockdown yet like Boboli did. The best part of it was that it was for free, and with a limited number of people inside at the time. So, one of the most sought out churches in the world, pretty much just for me. It was amazing.

Now as you know most of the history behind the Duomo, from all our posts on monuments in Italy, I’ll just leave you with pictures that I took while I was there. Cause the Duomo of Florence really doesn’t need many words to describe it.
