WORK SPACE IN FLORENCE FOR YOUNG INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS!

Il Vivaio del Malcantone is an independent space based in Florence, working since 2011 to promote performing arts, by hosting residencies and developing artistic training projects.

The venue is an ancient Florentine home, a former green nursery all refurbished: the concept of “nursery” has passed from growing flowers to sustain the development of young artists, by facilitating their access to the art world.

Il Vivaio del Malcantone provides promotional support and its workspace for the artists interested in spending a period working in Florence. (workspace of 60 squared mt, guesthouse of 40 squared mt for max 4 people, communication and promotion).
The proposal can be suitable for international and Italy-based artists, individuals or groups, working in the fields of contemporary theatre and dance, performance or multimedia art.

When: 
 A) from 14th to 17th of April 2017
B) from 21st of April  to 25th of  April 2017
C) from 28th of April to 1st of May 2017
D) from 1st of August 31st of Augus 2017
Deadline for applications
A, B, C) 28th of February 2017
D) 31st of May 2017
Eligibility:
International and Italy-based artists, individuals or collaborative groups, working in the fields of contemporary theatre, dance, performance or multimedia art.
 
Costs
 €40/per day (including accommodation and 24 hour studio access). It is possible to reserve a full period or less days.
It is also possible to book shorter periods
